The catalog

Every supplier's products in one place, bulk uploads, and prices by supplier.

Products

Catalog › Products lists every product with its code, name, category and status. Inactive products are hidden unless you tick Show inactive. Search, filter by category, Add Product, or Export Excel. Products carry images and prices by supplier, with price history, and each shows which order guides it’s on.

When you click Save Prices on a product’s prices, Vendoro asks When does this price start? If you added a new price, it also lists the open purchase orders for that product and supplier that the new price would change if re-priced, each with its lines at the current and new price and a link to the order. A folded list shows the other open orders and why they aren’t changed. The list updates when you change the start date. Nothing on those orders changes until someone re-prices the order. Click Save Prices in that step to save.

Price History lists each price with its From and To dates, supplier, product code, price, Status (Scheduled, Current, or why it ended) and who changed it. Export Excel includes all of these. A price with no To date stays in force until a new price replaces it.

Uploads

Catalog › Uploads loads a CSV or Excel file. Choose the upload type first:

Upload typeUse it to
Upload Products ONLYAdd new products without prices
Upload Products with PricesAdd products and their prices together
Upload Just PricesUpdate prices on products you already have
Add Prices to Existing ProductsAdd a supplier’s prices to products already in the catalog

The three price uploads ask you to Select Supplier first and the day These prices start on (today unless you change it). Upload Just Prices asks whether to match on the supplier’s product code or yours. Vendoro matches your columns to catalog fields where it can, including common names such as Manufacturer Part Number; check the mapping under Map Columns and fix any it missed. Units such as SH, PC, LB, OZ and KT are recognized.

Uploading the same product list again doesn’t create duplicates. A price is matched on supplier, supplier product code, unit and location group, and the new row replaces that product’s price instead of adding a product. Rows that can’t be read are kept as kickouts to fix; Past uploads with kickouts lists them.

Price by Supplier

Catalog › Price by Supplier shows one supplier’s prices across its categories. Tick Show unpriced products to include products that have no price yet. A product whose price you removed on purpose isn’t listed. Edit prices and Save Changes, or Export Excel as a bid sheet. See Connect suppliers.

Amazon products

On a saved product, open the Amazon Sync tab, search Amazon by title, model or brand, and choose Select & Sync to copy the details, images and ASIN onto the product.
