Release notes
What changed in Vendoro and when, newest first. New features, improvements and fixes for buyers and suppliers.
8–9 October 2026
Prices can now start on a future date and be charged on the right day. Approvals happen on the Requisitions and Invoices pages. Spend reports have new names and drill-downs, QuickBooks Online connects directly, and access controls are stronger across the app.
Two changes you may notice
- Times show in your own time zone. Your company’s time zone and week start also drive approval reminders, the dashboard, and report and budget weeks.
- Some actions now need the right permission. Ordering, approving, receiving, reports, budgets and the AI assistant each check that your role holds the right for that screen. If something you used to do is now refused, ask your administrator to add the right to your role under Users › Roles. See Users and rights.
Ordering and approvals
- Approve where you work. Approvals happen on the Pending Requisitions and All Invoices pages; the dashboard links straight to what is waiting for you. The separate Approvals inbox is gone. See Approve a requisition.
- Off-guide items are flagged. Ordering a product that is not on the location’s order guide shows a warning and an optional box to say why. Approvers see the reason and which lines are off-guide. It never blocks the order. See Create a requisition.
- Prices on the right day. For each supplier, choose whether orders are priced on the order date or the delivery date (Suppliers › Details › Prices orders on). For delivery-date suppliers, the PO preview shows the price that applies on the delivery day.
- Re-price an open purchase order. When a delivery-date supplier’s price changes after an order was built, the order shows the difference, and someone with the Edit purchase orders right can apply the new prices. Nothing changes on its own, and every change is recorded. See Purchase orders.
- Purchase order PDFs print the order note in its own box at the foot of the order, only when there is one.
- Requisitions show their location and requester even when the location or person is inactive.
- Requisitions are raised in your own name, unless your role allows ordering on behalf of others.
- Pressing Enter in search no longer picks a result for you when several match.
Catalog, products and prices
- Re-uploading a product list no longer creates duplicates. Prices are matched by supplier, supplier item code, unit and location group. Duplicates from earlier uploads have been merged.
- Supplier price changes take effect. When a connected supplier raises a customer or tier price, the new price is charged.
- Inactive products stay out of the way. They are no longer offered when you build an order guide, and the Products list hides them unless you choose Show inactive. See Order guides.
- Price history shows the whole story: each price’s From and To dates, its status, and who changed it. The Excel export includes them.
- The upload column mapper recognises more column names, such as Manufacturer Part Number, and more units: sheet (SH), piece (PC), pound (LB), ounce (OZ) and kit (KT).
- Show unpriced products no longer lists products whose price was removed on purpose.
Reports, budgets and the dashboard
- Spend reports, renamed and easier to dig into: Budget Burn-Down, What We Paid Per Product, Biggest Spend, Ranked, Spend by Period, and the two Unpacked reports. In Spend by Period and the Unpacked reports, click a row to see the order lines behind it. Report cards show a preview. See Spend reports.
- More accurate spend. Deleted orders and deleted or replaced lines no longer count, and spend reports follow the same rules as budgets for freight, tax and invoice adjustments. Some totals may go down.
- Editing a submitted requisition no longer counts it twice against the budget.
- The Dollar and PPD budget screens ask for the total first. Budget settings have their own page under Budgets. See Dollar budgets and PPD budgets.
- Budget screens need a budget-management right. Census week dates show when you hover a week.
- Count Stock has left the menu; existing links to it still work.
Invoices and accounting
- Connect QuickBooks Online under Invoices › Accounting Setup (needs the Manage integrations right). Vendoro doesn’t send vendors or bills to QuickBooks Online yet; until it does, use Export to Accounting. See Export to accounting.
- Sage Intacct by file: export bills as an Intacct import file, give vendors and locations their Intacct IDs, import paid status, and sync the chart of accounts.
- Invoices has its own menu section: All Invoices, Emailed Invoices, Routing Rules, Export to Accounting, Accounting Setup and Invoice Settings.
- Three-way match groups differences by quantity, price and line total, with a Compare switch. See Capture and match.
- Invoices sent by email are processed in the background, which is more reliable. See Emailed invoices.
For suppliers
- Connection offers. A buyer sending you an order also sends a connection offer, which you accept or decline in the portal. See Your buyers.
- Invoices are easier to follow. Invoice and PO numbers are clickable, and the status shows where each invoice is on its way to payment. See Invoices and payment status.
- You see only the orders and invoices addressed to you, through an active connection with that buyer.
- The settings gear opens your company profile, and the AP contact page explains what the contact is for.
- Support requests from the portal reach the right support desk.
Security and reliability
- Every action on requisitions, receiving, the voice cart, reports and the AI assistant is checked against your role on our servers, not only hidden on screen.
- The AI assistant sees only what you may see, and its replies use plain formatting.
- Email approval links re-check the approver when used. A link stops working if the approver has lost the right or left the company.
- AI features have fair-use limits.
Settings and administration
- Saving other company settings no longer resets your time zone, and the Prioritize PPD switch changes only itself.
- Roles: action rights are grouped into sections on their own tab.
- Supplier Network (formerly Verified Suppliers) is alphabetical, with search and a Connected / Not connected filter. See Connect suppliers.
- Forms are wider, tabs no longer wrap, and the Out of Office dialog is cleaner.
